In third grade students will further their understanding of communities and how they fit in to many different communities. We also learn about the explorers and first colonists who came to and started our new country. From there we will learn about the branches of government and how they run our country. In order to run our country effectively we must have good leaders and citizens. We will learn about citizenship and our rights. Throughout the year we will do projects that promote mastering the skills at this level. |
