This year the students will be given many opportunities to work on their writing skills. Here at St. Stephens we strive to give the students many opportunities to write across all subject areas. The students will participate in a writing assessment in the fall, the winter, and the spring to see how much their writing skills have progressed throughout the year. All 3 assessments will be based on a prompt provided by the teacher. The students will write personal narratives as their assessments.
